Salt, as it was hundreds of millions of years ago, contains all of the vital minerals that humans and animals need. Königssalz salt licks are free of any contamination from today’s oceans. They are of food-grade and if kept in a dry place, can be stored indefinitely.

All salt licks are hand-made and all vary slightly in colour and form. After drying, the licks are individually wrapped and boxed. Naturally, no child labour is used.

KönigsSalz salt licks are of the highest bioenergetic quality and are not industrially produced in any way. In their natural state, they contain the highest quality of salt. Compared to industrially produced and pressed salt licks, KönigsSalz salt licks are much less vulnerable to moisture. Pressed licks are quick to disintegrate. KönigsSalz salt licks for horses, goats, sheep and rodents can be bought as baby saltlicks weighing about 1kg, as a mountain lick weighing 2-3kg, as a cylinder lick weighing 3-4kg and as a jumbo lick weighing over 5kg. KönigsSalz salt licks all have a cylindrical form and are drilled through the centre, which means they can be licked evenly. They fit on any run of the mill lick holder or can be hung up by the accompanying cord. The lick for rodents weighs about 200g.





KönigsSalz salt licks for game and cattle can be stored outdoors for 10% longer than normal licks. KönigsSalz salt lick boulders can be bought in approx. 3-5kg or 25kg sacks.
